Generated PDF confuses order of content

When generating PDF from *md, I sometimes get random paragraphs reordering. It appears to relate to the number of paragraphs, and/or possible number of non-text parts, like images and inlined html.

I write:
----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----

## Purpose
Some text

![](some image.png)

More text ...

## Outline
Another text
----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----

I get PDF like:

PURPOSE

Some text

[My image]

OUTLINE

Another text

More text (this is misplaced)

---
