ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pointnet2_ops'

Hello Authors.

I'm not quite sure if the following error message is caused by my installation error.

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pointnet2_ops'

In the case when I run

bash ./scripts/train.sh 0 --config ./cfgs/KITTI_models/PoinTr.yaml --exp_name example

I did not find a library or file named pointnet2_ops.

Hi! yes, i see. I notice this problem in other issue (#35 (comment)). Could you try to build it from the source codes according to the instructions in the original repo (https://github.com/erikwijmans/Pointnet2_PyTorch#building-only-the-cuda-kernels)? Looking forward to your reply.

I have the same issue, I used the following command:

pip install "git+git://github.com/erikwijmans/Pointnet2_PyTorch.git#egg=pointnet2_ops&subdirectory=pointnet2_ops_lib"
Collecting pointnet2_ops

Then I used the following, still error-

pip install "git+https://github.com/erikwijmans/Pointnet2_PyTorch.git#egg=pointnet2_ops&subdirectory=pointnet2_ops_lib"

ERROR: Failed cleaning build dir for pointnet2_ops
Failed to build pointnet2_ops
ERROR: Could not build wheels for pointnet2_ops, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects
