Building tools for thinking, creating, and working with AI. Turning messy ideas into systems that actually run. Always building something I wish already existed.
01 // About me Qiyu Li. I build AI-native tools and creative software around thinking, creating, and working with AI — mostly around human–AI interaction, visual systems, and turning messy ideas into things that actually work. Outside the editor you'll usually find me around photography, films, table tennis, and whatever I'm curious about next. Currently exploring: human–AI interaction, creative software, cinematography, visual systems. Principles: human judgment stays in the loop; build the tools I wish already existed. 03 // Selected work — tools I wanted to exist, so I built them.

Context Distiller — choosing what an AI gets to see is the step nobody built a tool for. TypeScript, React 19, WXT, Manifest V3. Governance Framework — one source of truth for working across several AI agents. Markdown, YAML, Python, validators. Window Annotator — hand-drawn annotations pinned to any Windows window, following move, resize and scroll. Electron, JavaScript, koffi FFI. Work Capsule — one-click, fast-forward-only Git sync for every folder you choose. Rust, egui, Windows. DenseGPT — a long answer you cannot scan is a long answer nobody reads. UserCSS, Stylus, typography, prompt spec. Pixel Panels — the components this page is built from, lifted out and documented. JavaScript, SVG, zero-dependency, MIT.

04 // How I work — where the hours go, and what the code is actually made of. Coding rhythm — activity by hour and by weekday over the observed window of the public events feed. Language signal — lines I added in commits I authored, across the four selected repositories.

Recently starred repositories — opens my stars tab Recent activity — releases, repositories opened to the public, pull requests
