My hard fought uranium mine dissappears!
Attached below is a save that isn't making sense to me. I'm in a critically timed last stand, fighting to gain a nuke and get back in the fight. Pretty much hopeless now since they invaded my other city finishing up the Manhattan project...
But I want that uranium! In the last turn, due to procedural steps, my worker does finish the mine before being captured. In this turn, I'll bombard the soldier, promote the city infantry with double cover (this is the only way he'll survive) recapture my worker. But then, on the next turn, with both my worker and my soldier still standing on that tile, the mine dissappears. What?
Did they nuke the area and I lost the mine? Even an atomic bomb should show trace effects like the city taking damage, tiles going fallout, notification log, but no, nothing.
If I missed something, that's on me. I don't think I did, though I could be wrong. Save game next post.
