"it's" can not be used like this. Changing to "the" Cheers

I agree, but could I not change it to its'?

Because I haven't previously explained to the audience that there was a box, saying "the box" made me think "did I miss something"?

Its is the possessive form of it. Its' is not valid English for historic reasons. |
