Insert link in Safari adds link to the beginning of the text

Expected behavior:
Select a word in the middle of the text, Insert link inserts link on the selected word.

Actual behavior:
Select a word in the middle of the text and Insert link inserts link at the beginning of the text.
Happens only in Safari. Chrome, Firefox works fine.
