Mostly White = Doesn't Look Like Screenshots

Using android-armv7 version on a TV and it always has a lot of white in the visualization... more than half. Whereas the screenshots look mostly black. I've tried several of visualizers with Kodi and none of them exhibited this behavior; therefore, I think it must be related to Goom. I don't see anything in its configuration to deal with this problem. Any ideas?

Also, speaking of configuration, is it possible to set which type of visualization you want (e.g. the ones shown in the screenshots) or must it randomize between them?
