I'm not entirely sure of the situation, but upon installing NodeJS on a fresh Ubuntu and running the lines included with nodejs alessioalex.js, I was returned to the terminal prompt as if the program had exited successfully. Also, placing a message after those lines to confirm it's been reached seems to work as well.
Is this not what you were experiencing? If not, would you be able to provide an example situation to see if I can replicate the behavior?
I'm trying to figure this out at the moment. Anyone have any luck? I'm thinking that xclip thinks that it has to read something from stdin so its hanging indefinitely.
