Information Leak on Bad Requests

Hi, We use this image as default-backend image on our ingress nginx-controller.
When we made request to this url;

http:///%2e%2e//google.com

It gives;

<title>500 Internal Server Error</title>

500 Internal Server Error

Our security team considers that as a information leak. Why we are not seeing custom error page for this request any ideas?
