Freemarkable not working on Remarkable Paper Pro (last version)

Hello,

I tried to install the freemarkable on my remarkable paper pro (last update), and its not working.

The AppLoad application is not displayed.

It appeared one time after a reboot, but i cant get it back.

I tried to reinstall freemarkable, but nothing i tried is working.

you need to triple tap the power button really quickly to get xovi to launch and add appload to the menu. This has to be done after every restart/crash.

and how do you add appload to the menu?

Not to knock this project, but i found a similar project called ReManager that is more feature rich and made the process easier. The RMPP had an over the air update last night that appload is incompatible with, so if you had auto-updates enabled you'll need to downgrade. The easiest way I found to do this was a full factory reset (to get rid of my existing installation cleanly), followed by using ReManager to disable auto-updates and revert to firmware 25.1.1, so I could reinstall appload, tripletap, and koreader. Once you do this, you just have to triple tap the power button (only after the tablet restarts) in quick succession to run xovi and get appload in your menu. You can also do this from the remanager app under maintainence, or by sshing into the device and running ~/xovi/start.sh
