[Feature Request] Support for Debian's 'main' repository

This is intended for the author of this program.
Or anyone else with the knowledge and willing to contribute.

It would be great if this program would be part of Debian's 'main' (fully open source) repository.
Which comes with various advantages, like easier install, update, uninstall, proper arch (x86, armv8, etc.) automatically selected and reproducible builds, which are great for privacy and security!

The following projects have responded to similar requests in the past, where it can be seen how they did it:

evilsocket/opensnitch#798
And and a contributor made an ITP for this one too, so it's in progress:

It's a shame that more than 73K packages will be available in Debian's main repository for its next release and this one will not available there too.

I see that there was a merge request, without any description being provided:

That I thought it added the program to Debian's repository or prepared it for it, but it didn't as I have searched for it and I could not find it in the repository.
But after more searches I see that you have a page here:

One of the main reasons why I want this program in the 'main' repository is because that's the default one, so plug and play, without any other work to be done and time to be wasted.
Second reason it's because I don't want to add third party keys or repositories, since that's not best for my privacy and security.
So I will not be adding any of that.
Either a program is available in Debian's main repository or I don't use it, at all!
I'm not downgrading my privacy and security or jumping though hoops to enable third party repositories!
I will just use an alternative programs that does what I want and in this case, there are a few.
