Plex Request automatically handles SSL by:

• Using your Plex Media Server's certificate (cert-v2.p12) from the Cache directory
• Converting it to the required format for nginx
• Automatically detecting and handling certificate updates

No manual SSL configuration is needed as long as your Plex Media Server is properly configured. All that's needed is to fill out the relevant environment variables and set the Remote Connectivity port in Plex settings to 8012.
