Homelab

This repository previously held Talos, Flux, Helmfile, and TechDocs sources for the home Kubernetes platform. Those assets now live in webgrip/homelab-cluster so the cluster can evolve independently of the broader homelab, while everything about the home network, Home Assistant, and Proxmox services remains here.

Current scope

• Preserve home network documentation, Backstage metadata, and Terraform scaffolding while non-network assets move elsewhere.
• Point engineers to the Kubernetes-focused homelab-cluster repository for Talos/Flux work.
• Provide a landing spot for future non-cluster infrastructure once the refactor is complete.

Assets still hosted here

• catalog/ — Backstage domain, system, resources, and components for the WAN handoff, router, Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi, and the Proxmox-backed services stack.
• docs/techdocs/ — MkDocs/TechDocs space covering physical topology plus Protectli automation, with room for runbooks about the Raspberry Pi and Proxmox services.
• ops/terraform/opnsense/ — Placeholder for the Terraform that manages DHCP scopes, static reservations, and firewall rules (sensitive .tfvars must be encrypted via SOPS).
