Possible to add annotations without computing them implicitly?

Is it possible to add the text annotations in the same format as `box_pairs`?

E.g.

```
add_stat_annotation(ax, data=df, x=x, y=y, order=order,
                    box_pairs=[("Thur", "Fri"), ("Thur", "Sat"), ("Fri", "Sun")],
                    text=['this','that', 'the other'], loc='outside', verbose=2)
```
