Transformation module will probably undergo a lot refactoring and breaking changes in the foreseeable future. This introduces a compilation flag which optionally disables it until it is considered stable.

The Transformation module is expected to undergo significant refactoring and breaking changes in the foreseeable future. This flag allows users to enable the module only when they are ready, preventing instability by default.
