Hello and a late merry christmas to you,

maybe I am missing something very obvious, but for the life of me I can't figure it out right now:

I am currently in the process of upgrading from v3 to v4, but the package web-token/jwt-experimental is not available on packagist. It has not been marked deprecated and it is explicitly mentioned in the migration docs.

How to reproduce

composer require web-token/jwt-experimental@4.0.0

Possible Solution

My guess would be that the gitsplit config is faulty. I have no clue about that tool, but that looks wrong to me:

NOTE the missing "target" for the experimental key.

Many thanks for this issue.
Indeed, the gitsplit configuration file was not correct.
This is now fixed and the library is up to date.
I took the opportunity to fix errors with PHP8.4.
