Welcome to my GitHub Portfolio

About

Hi there👋, I am Wayne. I am a programmer across multiple disciplines.

Programming Experience

I started programming on the Tandy Color Computer 3 before moving on to IBM PCs and RS/6000 connected terminals at TAFE.

I am always learning, and this is one of my strengths

  • BASIC, 6809 assembler and machine language,
  • C,
  • Modula-2 (specifically Garden Point's Modula-2),
  • Fortran and COBOL which I have always had an interest in,
  • Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework/Core,
  • web based languages like Blazor, NodeJS (React and NextJS) and TypeScript.

Current programming goals

Currently I am focusing on learning Java, Python, Fortran and COBOL along with the tool sets associated with them.

Projects

I have worked on web projects in the past for different industries, developed applications and utilities for specific project requirements, but I have mostly focused on personal projects that support my needs and requirements or that of colleagues and family members.
