What is the function of the PWR Pin? #393

This is pin to power on the display. For "production" you should connect VCC of the display via external switch (MOS/Bipolar, whatever) and this switch shall be driven by PWR pin.
For development you can ignore it and connect it directly to the power source. But in general display should not be powered when idle. It shall be booted, configured. Then content changed/updated and powered off.

i am currently examine the code for STM32.
Found out that there is a constant defining a pin
#define PWR_Pin GPIO_PIN_6
#define PWR_GPIO_Port GPIOA
What is the purpose of the PWR Pin?
It is not connected to the Display or should it be used as pwr input ?
I dunno if the IC can handle the current?
