Describe the bug

I can't sign up, and I get basically looped around with the email and the link from the email. Every time I click on the link from the email, it says an error occurred, so I don't even know if I've signed up yet or not. This definitely doesn't work for me! I have not put any password in either, so I can't get past that stage. I also check different browsers.

Can you attach a Loom or other screen recording so we can dive in more? Are there any JS errors in your console that look like they might be relevant? Did you try temporarily disabling any ad blockers you might have running?

Actually, I just realised that it states "it violates our terms of service, please use another account", other times it states "Oops! We were unable to sign you in. Please try again.". As you can see above I tried via github, gmail and other via a "normal" email login, so not sure why this is coming up. I never had this issue somewhere else, so my accounts are not the issue I assume.

Yeah, I have a problem when logging in using Google account on macOS too

Actually, I've been having the same issue—I haven't been able to log in for several days, and it shows the message:
"This account violates our Terms of Service. Please log in with another account."

However, I haven’t done anything against the rules, and I’ve been using this account for years without problems. I already sent appeal emails to appeals@warp.dev

Honestly, I really don’t understand what Warp’s system is trying to control—there seem to be many posts online from users facing similar issues. When will the Warp team fix problems like this for good? My account appears to have been flagged without any clear reason, and there haven’t been any changes in how or where I use it.

I'm looking into all these issues right now and hope to have something launched (hopefully by tomorrow).

What we're trying to control is a massive influx of fraudulent users, who cost us a ton of money and divert the team's attention from building actually useful features for real developers. It's a hard problem, and we're working hard to find the right balance.

Once I ship the thing I'm working on, I'll post again and ask y'all to retry - if it still doesn't work, I can dig in personally and try to see what's up.

Sorry for the disruption. It's not our goal to block legitimate users - that would be very very silly on our part. So we'll iterate until we get it right.
