Project Abstract

Ozed Network is a Layer 1 blockchain developed by Ozed Hub Tech, designed to empower individuals, enterprises, and organizations with true data sovereignty, transparency, and immutability. It provides a decentralized infrastructure for data interoperability, cross-chain collaboration, and on-chain governance.

Built using Substrate and designed for potential integration with ecosystems such as Polkadot and Kusama, Ozed Network aims to create a secure and transparent framework where data can move freely across blockchains while remaining verifiable, private, and under user control.

Grant level

• Level 1: Up to $10,000, 2 approvals
• Level 2: Up to $30,000, 3 approvals
• Level 3: Unlimited, 5 approvals (for >$100k: Web3 Foundation Council approval)

Application Checklist

• The application template has been copied and aptly renamed (ozed_network.md).
• I have read the application guidelines.
• Payment details have been provided (Polkadot AssetHub address for USDC/DOT).
• I understand that an agreed upon percentage of each milestone will be paid in vested DOT.
• I am aware that, in order to receive a grant, I (and the entity I represent) have to successfully complete a KYC/KYB check.

It aims to establish the foundational architecture for decentralized data control and cross-chain collaboration, leveraging Substrate and designed for future integration within the Polkadot ecosystem.

Can you explain how this project could increase the usage of the DOT token for example?

Hi Diogo, I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out, and for highlighting the new grant guidelines. We will review and align our proposal accordingly. Regarding how Ozed Network could increase *DOT usage*: Although Ozed will have its own native stablecoin, however, our design is focused on cross-chain interoperability. By connecting through Polkadot’s infrastructure, Ozed Network would: - Create cross-chain use cases such as: Cross-Chain Data Governance, Interoperable Data Marketplace, Identity & network compliance, AI & Data Oracle Layer where DOT is used for governance, staking, and bonding. - Encourage enterprise participation in the Polkadot ecosystem. - Expand DOT’s relevance into data-focused and enterprise-grade applications beyond traditional DeFi. So while our native stablecoin drives the internal economy, DOT remains a key asset for interoperability and governance across networks.
