transformers==5.5.0 is the correct security floor and the current Unsloth ceiling, and the dependency resolution/CI are green. It is still not merge-ready because Transformers 5 is a major runtime migration and CI does not provision the shipped training environment.
Please rebase this after the validated protobuf 5.29.6 lane, map/fix removed v5 APIs (Trainer/TrainingArguments, tokenizer/chat-template behavior, safetensors, quantization args, cache variables, Hub 1.x/httpx), then run the locked-runtime import matrix plus a real Unsloth CUDA fine-tune, checkpoint save/resume, Hub cache/offline behavior, and the pinned llama.cpp GGUF conversion/load path. Approve only with that runtime/GPU evidence; successful ordinary CI is insufficient for this manifest.
Bumps transformers from 4.57.6 to 5.5.0.
