[Feature Request] data table checkbox increase the row size

Problem to solve

I'm implementing a data table and I want it to be as compact as possible. However, it needs to have a checkbox to select items. When the show-select attribute is enabled, the checkbox appears in the data table, but the table is no longer compact.

Proposed solution

I imagine something like the slot feature that i could handle only the checkbox.

You can do it with defaults (example) to control density and even inject custom classes.

You can include optional style: 'zoom: .88' to make it look better.
