🛡️ Kill-Switch Chrome Extension

Protect your online identity with IP-based access control.

This extension provides a critical security layer for the Chrome browser, allowing you to restrict access to sensitive websites (such as crypto exchanges, banks, or work panels) to a specific IP address. If your VPN disconnects or your IP changes, Kill-Switch immediately cuts off access and closes the relevant tabs to prevent any leaks.

✨ Key Features

  • 🔒 IP Lock: Specified sites open only with the IP address you define.
  • Instant Reaction: Automatically closes open tabs the moment your IP changes.
  • 🛡️ Fail-Closed Security: If the internet is unstable or the IP cannot be detected, all access is locked down for maximum security.
  • 🕵️ WebRTC Protection: Prevents your real IP from leaking via the WebRTC protocol.
  • 📝 History: Displays a log of blocked access attempts.

📥 Installation

Since this extension is not listed on the Chrome Web Store, you need to load it manually using Developer Mode:

  1. Download the source code (Clone this repo or download as ZIP and extract it).
  2. Open chrome://extensions in your Chrome browser.
  3. Turn on Developer mode in the top right corner.
  4. Click the Load unpacked button.
  5. Select the folder containing the extension files (where manifest.json is located).

⚠️ Disclaimer

This tool is designed to enhance browser security but is not a complete replacement for an OS-level "Kill-Switch" or hardware firewalls. For 100% security in highly sensitive cases, please also ensure you use your VPN's built-in security settings (Network Lock).
