Automatic table formatting does no longer work in VNote 4

Describe the bug

In VNote 3, one of its best features (what partially also makes it better than other Markdown Notes applications) was the feature to automatically format tables when editing the Markdown file such that missing spacing is added to also form a proper table in the text itself.

In VNote 4 I can't get this to work anymore.
I turned on "Smart table formation" in settings, which I assume must mean this feature, but when I start typing to create or edit a table, the rows don't automatically resize themselves (e.g. add/remove space) even after waiting for a bit or saving.

This issue is present in notes that are in a notebook as well as other Markdown files.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a new note
2. Start creating or editing a table (e.g. typing in text that would be too long for the current spacing in edit mode)
3. Wait a bit

Expected behavior

The underlying table consisting of pipe characters and spaces in edit mode is resized automatically by VNote to fit the contained text and alignment like in VNote 3.

I also want to note that indentation of the table (e.g. for putting it under a list item) breaks the monospace font used for tables.

It is not migrated yet. And the smart table feature is not so perfect. I plan to embed a visual table widget to edit the table direclty. Will Come soon.
