Desktop Notification setting has no effect (notifications always shown)

🪲 Describe the bug

Desktop Notifications setting does not have any effect.

📑 To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Settings
2. Uncheck Desktop Notifications
3. Skip a pomodoro or wait long enough
4. Notification is still shown

☑️ Expected behavior

Notifications should not be shown when setting is off.

🧑‍💻 Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Fedora Sway Atomic
• Version 41

⚙️ Additional context

Layered packages in system:
containerd.io distrobox docker-ce docker-ce-cli i3 i3blocks xorg-x11-server-Xorg

Instead of Sway I'm using i3 and xorg. Dunst is used for notifications in system.
