* share dependencies between the dev shell and the deps image * switch to markdownfmt since 'fmt' butchers markdown
defeats the point of doing make -j shims ahead of time

Letting the Nix assimilation continue; now fully leveraging it for portable environments between local dev, GitHub Actions, and Bass thunks. No more bumping Go everywhere and then forgetting to bump the version in the Actions workflow.
