Newer JVM and JDK's

Sure. I just don't know what those JVM/JDKs are. I haven't touched this library in quite some time.

I'll look into it. It's not a present requirement as I'm not using this, other than to evangelise your very useful tool.

I would love to know more about the history of this tool, and what picks up development cycles every now and then.

I Do remember when I first used this, I had to install JDK8 as it would not work on newer JDK; but that might have been a gradle wrapper issue, or something specific to the org I was in (they had a 418 I'm a teapot deliberately engineered into their API).
