question on application being used by 3rd party #427

My company wants to create/use a paint program via the Browser that supports layers and your project more that meets what we want to do. From your readme, it looks open source and free, but I want to verify if that is free or if we need to buy a license from you. I didn't find any way to contact you directly in github profile so I am going though Issues.
I assume I am allowed to modify your code by removing N/A functionally to stream line the interface and hopefully speed up response time, the interface started to freeze up after added a poly shape a second layer. We have very large panorama png files that we want to draw on, which I expect is causing the freezing.
P.S.
Is there a tutorial some where? I am currently watching a YouTube on what all the buttons do.
