Ability to set default ppi

What are you trying to do?

A lot of our clients provide pictures taken in 300 ppi while for web 72 ppi is enough.
I couldn't find anything in the configuration about this option and I'm not sure if it does it automatically already.

What's your proposed solution?

It would be great if it's possible to set a ppi in the configuration which the images will be converted too as well besides only max. width and height.

300 ppi vs 72 ppi can have a big difference on the file size.

Yeah, that's an interesting one! I think we can determine the dpi/ppi value for images, and if it's not something that's easy to manipulate, we can just do some maths to determine what the resulting pixel dimensions would be when downscaling. So long as we can determine what dpi/ppi value an image is, we can handle that.
