Feature request: UUIDs are annoying

Instead of having to do this:

• urlscan scan submit https://heipei.net
• Use my mouse to select and copy the uuid from the output
• urlscan scan result <uuid>

I want to just do this:

• urlscan scan submit-and-result <uuid>

Kind of similar to urlscan/urlscan-python#14.

Something similar could be useful for screenshots and maybe DOM too. It's annoying that I even have to know what a UUID is. That's kind of an implementation detail.

Maybe we have urlscan scan scan-and-download-result-and-screenshot-and-dom https://heipei.net (with a better name, obviously) which then creates a <uuid>.json, <uuid>.html, and <uuid>.png.

They are cleaner than putting scan-and-download-result-and-screenshot-and-dom in the terminal to me.

I think we should build something that does this all in one step without asking the user to use other third-party tools like jq.

I know it's a common tool to use (for advanced users), but the way I see it, the fact that I even have to know about UUID is already a bug, from a UX perspective. It's an artifact of this being a "dumb" API wrapper.

We should build more of these convenience features to make things as easy to use as possible.

I think there are reasons for both features. The UUID is not just an implementation detail though. I can see two different use-cases:

• I want to submit 100 URLs and get a list of their UUIDs so I can share it with others, or do my own post-processing.
• I want to scan a single URL and have it automatically wait and return all relevant results.

How those map to CLI commands I don't know yet. We could have

• urlscan scan submit - Does not block, returns raw JSON.
• urlscan scan perform - Blocks, waits, returns the full result automatically.
