Release 3.0.0 Umbrella issue

Issues and PRs have been piling up for a while now (my fault), it's time for a new major release to clean up the queue.

• x86_64/amd64 support likely with:

  added Gentoo support on all arches #95
• Refactor the default Distro/Arch list removing the huge set of Dockerfiles to make everything easier to manage and update
• Resolve issue cache conflict? #55, merging either add cacheTag suport #56 or Fixes #55 - Use both the workflow and job names in the container name #100.
