Query 'VM' not working

after latest unraid update to 7.1.2 stable
Query VM is not working any more

i am not sure whats going on, because after last update this was working...

after a restart today i get this:

@s3ppo - if you run unraid-api restart, does it start working? I wonder if our detection logic is broken.

@elibosley i am not 100% sure but it seems to me, when i restart the server its not working.. after an api restart its working again

Could you check if whether 'Enable VMs' is set to 'Yes' under Settings > VM Manager?

The only way I could reproduce this was by setting 'Enable VMs' to 'No'.

That's not remotely true at all. On restart of server the VMs don't show up. Have to manually run unraid-api restart to fix it. Also, NUT ups won't show up. Please add that as well.

Yeah thats exactly the same what happens on my system.
After server restart VM is not working. After manually api restart it starts working.

This is likely not our issue. Does your NUT UPS show up inside of Unraid in the UPS manager? Make another issue please.

Sure we can make another "issue" for it. But it is absolutely your issue, because the api is not exposing the data. This is especially important because the UnRaid native UPS settings are incomplete and people have to use NUT for full functionality. For example, I connect to a master nut server on another machine over network and unraid is the slave only fetching the data.

Regardless, please fix the api to restart correctly after the server restarts. VMs are still the issue.
