…adapter when present and otherwise returns a default adapter using SampleContex (getAnnotations and clear) so callers always get a non-null adapter. In nav.tsx, switch to useNavAdapter() and simplify save navigate/clear/search code to use navAdapter directly, removing optional adapter checks and passing of raw annotations/setAnnotations props.
