From one of our users:
"When I create a new HelpMe account using email (i.e., not through UBC) the enter-code-sent-to-email verification will indicate that verification failed, even if I actually typed in the code correctly. After, if I just go back to login screen and log in with my new account, it lets me into the new account."
This might be a multi-faceted issue. I remember there being a part where a user couldn't copy-paste the verification code in due to case-sensitivity iirc, but I forget if I fixed that.
This does seem really weird though. It's almost like the verification goes through but it shows an error message for some reason.
