You can add 3rd-party filter lists into uBlock Origin. Place a checkmark next to "Import..." in the "Custom" section and then paste the URLs of the filter lists into the text area that appears below. These custom filter lists are automatically updated regularly.

I wanted to get your feedback on a few changes I made today to the wiki.

1. I overhauled the last section on the Filter Lists page by combining the existing page with the information regarding importing 3rd-party filter lists from the Filter-lists-from-around-the-web page.
2. I created the External Websites List page to replace the Filter-lists-from-around-the-web page to supplement the new combined section.
3. Another thought I had was to include everything together into this one section instead of having any additional pages at all. I think a single entry in a "list" really does not make it a list since there is only one entry on the External Websites List page. What are your thoughts on this?
4. Since I combined all the general information into one section, we can delete the Filter-lists-from-around-the-web page, I believe? What are your thoughts on this? I wanted to ask you about this before taking any permanent action myself.

I also had a question regarding images on the wiki.

Is it alright if I add new ones to enhance the quality? What about if I want to change or update existing ones?

For wiki - web interface. KDE Kate - only when I need to search&replace or if I have something already on disk and want quick preview. For JavaScript (for huge files like YT source) - Code OSS (VSCode), but I hate that I need plugins to do anything and now hate it even more when it asks for permissions on every step.

The increased likelihood of some web pages not being rendered correctly due to the higher probability of false positives when adding more filter lists is possible. When this issue occurs, you should report it to the maintainers of the filter list causing this or create your own exception filters to fix it.

If you mean the previous few images in our most recent conversation here, then no. I set my Windows 10 scaling feature at 100% (1x) in 4K (the lowest) and then 350% (3.5x) in 4K (the highest). The images were never blurry. Also, in both of these scaling states previously mentioned, I used Firefox Nightly 103's built-in zoom feature and went from below 100% - 500% and everything looked just fine.

Let me look into the badge icon image situation and get back to you here soon. I will check out your tip on the low dpi/upscale and the linked website.

The reason I removed the deprecated sections is because I still see now people advising to use filters using those deprecated operators (i.e. on twitter). The deprecated operators can be just a footnote in the valid version of those filters, so if someone search for one of those deprecated operators, they should understand immediately they should use the new form.

Many adblock lists are already licensed under CC.

I'm fully aware of this, notably AdGuard lists are not licensed under CC however.

Here I rewrote this from a completely different angle. I am much happier with it now. This version is much more concise and uses actual web browser verbiage (restricted - at least in Firefox) for better clarity and to reduce wordiness.

Does not changing "on" to "to" changes the meaning?

Filters with domain option are applied to requests to all domains, but on pages in domain host (when you see it in address bar (or iframe document)). Changing it to "to" may suggest it applies to the requested domain. There is now a new filter option to which means exactly this - the requested domain, and document has new alias from.

I see it works without the setting in 1.46 already but since the rc links are gone I can't check which version introduced the switch (I thought rc2 still required the setting, but maybe I missed it at the time).

I'm asking because both the setting's and logger's descriptions need to be updated accordingly.

It still applies, I often use allow to coarse-test without the logger to find out if unblocking resource from a domain fixes an issue, and from there I can narrow down.

For filterAuthorMode, I can't remember. I think I would have brought it out of advanced feature mode because the filters created as a result of using the exceptor are now removed when closing the logger.

Yeah, I also use allow a lot when solving the issues because it's the fastest way to check which domains cause the problems.

@peace2000 the "The URLs must be space-separated:" is already in first sentence - "One or more space-separated URLs". Next time use example.com/example.org/.test top level domain.

If you really want samples, add them after a new "Examples" heading, similar how it's done in Resources-Library page.

Sorry, probably because my eye first caught the end of text which mentioned about adding multiple URL support, I somehow missed that it was also mentioned at the beginning.
