Drawing a rectangle does not show the red “preview”

[V 1.12] When drawing with the Shape Tool, there is no longer the red “preview” for what will be drawn by the tool. It is only shown for an oval, without pressing shift – when pressing shift, the preview disappears. For rectangles the preview is not visible at all.
