Note that twemproxy is in Debian since recently and will be part of both Debian's next release (jessie), and Ubuntu's (vivid). The package ships both an init script and an upstart service file, and the next upload will also ship a systemd unit file. |

Currently twemproxy only provides init script for red hat based systems.
