Key changes

There are a few dozen bug fixes and changes in this release, but we've called out the ones we think matter most:

• Padding of .navbar-collapse and alignment of .navbar-right:last-child elements has been reworked.
• Added a max-width: 100%; to .containers.
• Restored the twelfth column's float: left; at all grid tiers.

• Glyphicon changes height of input group addon #10936: Increase height of large inputs to fix Firefox inconsistencies by using ceil() instead of floor().
• Fix: @font-face path if importing bootstrap.less from another directory. #10941: Fix Glyphicons path for those importing bootstrap.less from another directory.
• Duplicate property definitions #10979: Don't use .img-thumbnail as a mixin for .thumbnail to avoid duplicate and unnecessary styles.
• Add quick fix to labels and badges in buttons #11217: Fix vertical alignment of labels within buttons, just like badges in buttons.
• Account for badges in buttons #11268: Account for badges within buttons by matching background to text color and text color to background.
• Change the initialism selector #11277: Drop the abbr element from the .initialism selector.
• Support .h1 in place of h1 inside .jumbotron #11299: Support .h1 in jumbotrons.
• Fix bugs and overrides in forms #11351: Correct grid class reset on input groups by using attribute selector, not an old class from v3 betas.
• small buttons are not vertically centered in a navbar #11357: Vertically center .btn-sm and .btn-xs variations of .navbar-btns in the navbar.
• Double-clicking on a .btn-ized radio button shouldn't de-select it #11376: Don't deselect radio buttons when double clicking.
• .table-striped and .table-hover can no longer be used as mixins #11387: Improve nesting on table classes to enable easier use of mixins.
• Simplify table state styles #11388: Simplify contextual table styles mixin (also drops the border parameter since we longer apply that anyway).
• horizontal scrollbar on viewport 992px < 1018px - full width jumbotron #11390: Add max-width: 100%; to containers within jumbotrons to avoid horizontal scrollbar.
• Inline select input #11402: Set width: auto; on select.form-control within .form-inline.
• Add missing .small styles and docs #11414: Add .small support to blockquote citations.
• Modal doesn't close if you click on modal-dialog padding. #11425: Use margin instead of padding on .modal-dialog to click-thru to .modal-backdrop.
• Corrected color contrast to WCAG 2.0 AA (Accessibility Tweak) - Forms and Alerts #11432: Corrected color contrast to WCAG 2.0 AA for @state- variables (applies to forms and labels).
• @navbar-padding-vertical only used for .navbar-brand / .navbar-text not for links #11444: Use @navbar-padding-vertical for nav links vertical padding.
• CSS: fonts: prefer Menlo to Monaco everywhere #11449: Prefer Menlo over Monaco for monospaced fonts.
• Gradient color on navbar toggle button on Android Firefox #11468: Prevent default gradient background-image on .navbar-toggle in Firefox for Android.
• Remove unusual keyframes prefixes #11476: Remove unnecessary prefixed keyframe declarations for animated progress bars. Given our browser support requirements, we can drop the -moz- prefix as the last several versions don't require it.
• activate.bs.scrollspy not being called with a dropdown? #11477: Use namespace events for dropdowns and carousel.
• Fixed button group dropdown button not being 100% width #11493: Ensure proper width of dropdown buttons within vertical button groups.
• fix navbar dropdown window resize bug #11499: Switch from overflow-y: auto; to overflow-y: visible; to prevent vertical scrollbar in some navbar situations.

• Adding 'col-' grid classes to table cells removes their cell border in Firefox and IE #11623: Reset position to static for grid columns within tables to prevent borders from hiding in IE9, IE10, and Firefox.

• Ensure version numbers are updated with grunt change-version-number --oldver=A.B.C --newver=X.Y.Z Review the changes and commit them manually.
• Manually update dev-master version setting in composer.json
• Run grunt one last time

• git co gh-pages and git merge master
• Generate bootstrap-X.Y.Z-dist.zip file for release

Side note: perhaps we do a release on the first Thursday of every month? Or something else like that moving forward? Curious if a more rigid structure would help here, and our last point release was one month ago.

Small, frequent releases like that (whether on a strict schedule or not) sound like a good idea to me (as long as you can find enough music videos :-P).
