Remove hash-object and search-and-crawl package

[transitive-bullshit]

Fixes #677

• search-and-crawl package wasn't really used and required 5-6 extra deps in core that were only used there, so simplifying a bit and just removing it as I don't think it belongs in the same client wrapper packages as the others.
