Fix: gate export resume on audio/subtitle/encoder flags (#132) - #210
Conversation
CaptureExecutionSnapshot omitted the newer DubbingSessionOptions flags (ApplyTimbrePolish, RestoreOriginalPan, MatchOriginalLoudness, BurnInSubtitles, SubtitleSource, SubtitleFormats, VideoEncoder), so a cached export was resumed even when those flags changed, silently ignoring user intent without --force-rerun. Record normalized snapshot keys for each flag: booleans via ToString(), SubtitleSource via ResolveSubtitleSource (null and translated match), SubtitleFormats mapped directly so null/empty/[srt] are distinct and case-insensitive, and VideoEncoder via VideoEncoderPreferenceSettings.ToKey. Expose CaptureExecutionSnapshot as internal static (with SDK re-exposure) and add covering xUnit tests. Also pin dotnet 10.0.401 in mise.toml to fix Roslyn analyzer mismatch.
… manifest FEAT-002 captured the export gating flags into the execution snapshot but nothing on the Export resume path read them, so flipping ApplyTimbrePolish, RestoreOriginalPan, MatchOriginalLoudness, BurnInSubtitles, SubtitleSource, SubtitleFormats, VideoEncoder, or ExportFormat still resumed the stale export. Persist the prior run's gating flags on the per-run ExportManifest and compare them at resume time. A new ExportResumeGating helper is the single source of truth for the canonical gating key/value set; both CaptureExecutionSnapshot and the manifest-writing path use it so capture and comparison cannot drift. StageArtifactResumeEvaluator.CanResumeStageAsync reads the manifest and refuses to resume when any gating flag differs. Older manifests without gating fall back to the existing resume behavior. Adds resume-path tests that fail if reverted.
…lt-path spurious reruns The snapshot side emitted SubtitleFormatsTokenFromRawOptions(null) => "default" while the manifest side persisted the resolved [Srt] token => "Srt" for the same default-subtitle run, so every unchanged default export refused to resume. Carry the raw requested formats through ExportStageRequest.RawSubtitleFormats and have BuildManifest produce its token via SubtitleFormatsTokenFromRawOptions, so both sides normalize identically (null => "default") and agree on the default path while still diverging for genuinely different requests. Removed the now-unused SubtitleFormatsTokenFromResolvedFormats producer. Added default-path resume tests.

📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe export pipeline now records normalized export settings in execution snapshots and manifests. Export artifact resumption compares these settings asynchronously. Raw subtitle format distinctions remain available for gating. Tests cover matching, mismatching, compatibility, and snapshot normalization. ChangesExport resume gating

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to This change adds logic to avoid reusing a previously exported file when audio, subtitle, or encoder settings have changed. However, in edge cases where the previous export's saved settings file is missing, unreadable, or incomplete, the system currently falls back to reusing the old export anyway instead of safely re-running it, which can silently ship output that doesn't match the requested settings. This narrow-but-real gap should be tightened before merging, though it does not block the common path where settings are recorded normally. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 3 | ❌ 2❌ Failed checks (2 warnings)

The changes correctly address the issue where export resume was not respecting audio/subtitle/encoder flag changes. The implementation is well-designed with a centralized ExportResumeGating helper as the single source of truth, proper backward compatibility through nullable gating fields, and the fix for the default-path subtitle format divergence. The code is thoroughly tested and follows good engineering practices. No blocking defects identified.

Gatingdirectly into a hand-built manifest, so it never exercisesExportStageHandler.BuildExportGatingor the pipeline'sRawSubtitleFormatsforwarding. Removing either production wiring would still leave these resume tests green while newly written manifests omit or misrecord the flags. Add a handler/pipeline test that performs an export, reads its manifest, and then evaluates resume for the null, empty, and explicit format cases.

Reject resume when the manifest gating data cannot be verified.
These branches return true for an unreadable, missing, empty, or partial gating payload. If an export setting changed, the pipeline can reuse a stale export without detecting the mismatch.
Return true only when a successfully deserialized legacy manifest has Gating == null. Return false for read failures, null manifests, empty flags, and missing required keys. Add tests for these failure paths.
