git-hooks_swiftlint

Setup

1. Open Terminal

    brew install swiftlint 
   

2. Add a new "Run Script Phase" with:

    if which swiftlint >/dev/null; then
        swiftlint
    else
        echo "warning: SwiftLint not installed, download from https://github.com/realm/SwiftLint"
    fi
   

3. Add pre-commit file (without exetension) under .git/hooks then paste this script.

    # hook script for swiftlint. It will triggered when you make a commit.
   
    LINT=$(which swiftlint)
   
    if [[ -e "${LINT}" ]]; then
        echo "SwiftLint Start..."
    else
        echo "SwiftLint does not exist, download from https://github.com/realm/SwiftLint"
        exit 1
    fi
   
    RESULT=$($LINT lint --quiet)
   
    if [ "$RESULT" == '' ]; then
        printf "\e[32mSwiftLint Finished.\e[39m\n"
    else
        echo ""
