Scripts to analytically solve the dynamic equation of motion of the 1D spring-slider system with poly-linear friction and model earthquake cycle.
Simulated a 3D cube rolling on the ground to experiment with rigid body motion and the effects of ground friction, stiffness, and damping on a cube's trajectory. PDF of research paper included. From my Special Topics in Mathematical Modeling and Simulation class with Charles Peskin at NYU.
