[New Forum] It is bit confusing what category mean here, or may be it will take me time to get used to. Also the super long drop down that opens with it. If I may suggest, I think we should get rid of the category as the current location (of where I'm at the forum) could be used to determine the place where new thread needs to be created.

Thanks for the note. Do you get the weird dropdown if you use the Challenge Discussions link on the left instead of Roundtables when navigating to the challenge forum?

Oh correct, I get the dropdown only when I use 'New Discussion' from left sidebar, but none when go into challenge and choose the 'New Discussion' from main area.

@atelomycterus - Can we remove that category dropdown if the user navigates via Roundtables please?

@jmgasper I see. Fixed (PR-#442). In short, the weird dropdown was displayed when user was in a category, but creating a discussion in it is not allowed because the category type was nested or flat.

If user clicks on 'New Discussion' from a challenge view page then 'Code Question' is used by default. It's been implemented in #218 (comment).
