Standardize project icon display (size / aspect ratio / fallback)

While looking into adding a few projects to the projects page, I noticed that project icons currently vary quite a bit, some are missing, and others have very different sizes or aspect ratios.

This isn't a big issue, but I wonder if we could slightly standardize how icons are displayed to improve visual consistency and contributor experience.

Some possible ideas:

• Render all icons inside a fixed square container
• Use object-fit: contain so non-square logos still fit nicely
• Provide a simple fallback for projects without an icon
• Optionally document a recommended (not required) icon format
