Setup

I decided to post steps here instead of creating a setup file.

Get XCode downloading

Start the download from the App Store. You can do this while you continue with the rest of the steps, they don't depend on having XCode installed.

Install xcode tools

xcode-select --install

Manually install apps

• Install XCode
• Install XCode CLI tools:
  • Preferences
  • Locations
  • Install most recent CLI Tool
• Install iTerm2
  • Enable setting sync - see ./iterm2/readme.md
• Install postgres.app
• Install VsCode
  • Enable settings sync from VsCode command palette
