ESRF and other synchrotrons / beamlines are using binocuars code for 3d, 2d visualization, rod integration and rebining of existing spaces.
https://github.com/id03/binoculars
or my (outdated) fork:
https://github.com/tifuchs/binoculars
Plan is to update the binoculars fork to a recent python version >3.10, Qt 6,
Then only use the backbone of binoculars (i.e. the well-developed API) for space slicing, summing etc.
as well as the integration tools (binoculars-fitaid).
orGUI is now doing substantial more corrections, has more accuracy and speed. However, binoculars has a very nice API for working with spaces.
Don't need to reinvent the wheel there.
