Ah yes probably something to do with self$oob

Word. Trying to install chromstaR just crashed my computer (also, the installation failed), so I'm gonna try on RStudio Server.

Now to figure out why this didn't previously fail

I can't figure it out - there are no mentions of oob in scales or ggplot2 READMEs. Given that it affects only two packages, I think the right thing is to add to breaking changes in NEWS and move on.
