Any update or software alternative to run on M2 MPB Mac OS Sonoma?

I tried to install the app on my Macbook Pro M2 on Mac OS Sonoma, but it said the app needed to be updated to be compatible. My MBP is powerful enough. I am just having difficulty finding software that can run on it for this type of project. Any advice is appreciated.
