This is a very large and broad change with performance and compatibility changes, it is completely changing the interface of the library, at the cost of making it slower, for what is ultimately a pretty small and well defined issue. That seems very excessive to me. I think there should be some smarter way of dealing with this. What if we just reset the context on every request? |
